Former NBC DG, Danladi Bako congratulates Ilaboya on his appointment as Special Adviser on Grassroots Sports to Edo Governor

Kogunan Sokoto has congratulated Mr. Frank Ilaboya on his appointment as Special Adviser on Grassroots Sports Mobilisation to Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo.

In his congratulatory message, he said that it did not come to him as a surprise considering the fact that Ilaboye merited the appointment.
The message reads; ” On behalf of passionate sports-loving Nigerians as well as veteran sports administrators and writers I congratulate Frank Areguame Ilaboya on his appointment as Special Adviser on Grassroots Sports Mobilisation by the Executive Governor of Edo State His Excellency Sen Monday Okpebholo.

“Frank has earned this appointment deservedly, considering his long years of service as a sports writer, later culminating into the exalted position of Chairman Edo State Football Association.

“His years of toil and sweat embedded in his sheer doggedness, stiff determination, unhindered and unbridled capacity to achieve results make him most qualified and acceptable for this job.

“I admonish Frank to realize the undeniable efficacy of growth and development in this onerous assignment of grassroots sports mobilisation.

“May the Almighty see you through successfully as you contribute your quota to the development of sports in Nigeria as a whole” concludes the statement by Bako who was the Director General of NBC from 1999-2002.
