Ibadan Mega Voice tackles lawmakers in anniversary novelty match
As part of activities marking its first anniversary celebration, a group of professional media practitioners, the Ibadan Mega Voice (IMV) has concluded plans to face the Ibadan born members of Oyo State House of Assembly in a novelty football match scheduled for Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Ibadan on Friday 24 November 2023.
The match tagged: All Stars Football Challenge will feature prominent On-Air-Personalities who are members of Ibadan Mega Voice and some Ibadan-born lawmakers as one of activities lined up for the week-long IMV one year celebrations.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the Group, Samuel Ibikunle Popularly known as ArugboBoisi, the event was put together to reflect on their cultural identity, to come together to remember how God has been good to them for the past one year and celebrate in a sporting atmosphere.
He added that notable Ibadan-born OAPs such as renowned Sport’s Journalist and former Public Relations Officer of 3SC, Arowolo Jubril Bimbola, Popular Yoruba Sports presenter, Babatunde Saheed Mr. Sports, a research-presenter, Adeshina Jagunmade Pajone, Idris Animasaun, Olubimpe Fatoye, Sport analyst Abiola Dahunsi Kaka among others will participate in the match.
“Hon. Waheed Akintayo popularly known as Ilumoka Presenter, who is a member of Oyo State House of Assembly representing Oluyole constituency will lead other lawmakers who are natives of Ibadan to face IMV team in an All Stars Football Challenge,” said ArugboBoisi.
