Gusau, Anyansi, other football administrators grace Chukwueze’s mother’s burial

Umuahia, the Abia State Capital, Friday played host to top football administrators in the country, who came to pay their last respect to the mother of Super Eagles player Samuel chukwueze who was laid to rest on that day.

The high powered delegation which was led by the NFF President, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau includes the NFF 1st Vice President, Chief Felix Anyansi Agwu, Senator Obinna Ogba, Chairman Ebony State FA, his Abia and Imo State counterparts, Rev Dr. Obioma Onyeaghala and Barrister Ifeanyi Dike as well as the Anambra State FA Chairman, Chikelue Iloenyosi.

Others who accompanied the NFF President to the burial are ; Stanley Chionye Ogwuru, board member Abia State football association and
Charles Chukwuemeka Nnadi a board member of Imo State football association.

In his condolence message, Gusau noted that the high powered delegation by the football house to the burial is an evidence of how they value Samuel Chukwueze’s services to the nation, pledging that the NFF will continue to support any national team player in their period of celebration or grief.

He regretted that Chukwueze’s mother died at a time when her children needs her counselling but prayed that God Almighty will give her soul eternal rest and also give the Super Eagles player and his siblings the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

In his response Samuel Chukwueze thanked the top notch of the football house for attending his mother’s burial; saying that the entire family is overwhelmed by their presence and the honour done to him
