Peseiro’s Eagles crawl to victory in Bissau courtesy of penalty

Jose Peseiro and his boys managed a 1-0 victory over Guinea Bissau in the AFCON qualifier.

The victory made possible by a Moses Simon first half penalty was enough to see the team return to the top of the log with nine points in a group that includes Sierra Leone and São Tomé.

The qualifiers will resume in September with the Eagles hosting São Tomé.
