Ekwueme’s TICO-SELECT, Moonluck sign MOU in Lagos

Poland based sports companies TICO/SELECT have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Moonluck Football academy, Lagos after both parties agreed on a two year contract with option for renewal.
The MOU was signed at the weekend by Moonluck FC President Chief Collins Onwuzulike  while TICO/SELECT sole representative in African region Ifeanyi Ekwueme signed on behalf of the latter.
 The MOU was signed in the presence of other club officials and top media representatives at an impressive ceremony which was held at Glorious Suite in Lagos.Shortly after the ceremony, Chief Onwuzulike pledged total commitment of his club to every letter of the contract.
He said, ” once again, we are indeed delighted about this partnership between we and Ifeanyi Ekwueme. It’s an ideal partnership we have nursed for a long time.
 “I am glad it has at last seen the light of day. This relationship provides us an opportunity to celebrate the true Nigerian spirit that is fuelled by patriotism, passion and desire to take Moonluck Football Club and grassroot football in Nigeria to the next level.
“I am convinced you will add value to our club and you will be a great role model to the young players. We want to reassure that we will meet your expectations all round.”
In his remarks, Ekwueme showered encomiums on Chief Onwuzulike while reinstating that he would go extra mile with a vision to drive the club to the greatest height attainable.
Said he:” First and foremost I must  commend and thank the President. He is a straightforward and visionary football technocrat. There is need to commend him because it’s not an easy feat to fund a football academy.
“Hopefully he would soon start to reap the fruit of his labour. I am honored with this wonderful partnership. It’s a great feeling and I’m excited to work with the President. I promise not to let him down.”
Apart from being saddled with the responsibility of supplying TICO/SELECT sports kits, the former Nigeria midfielder who was recently named Moonluck Football Club ambassador is also expected to use his international contacts to attract quality scouting tournaments for the club with the view of helping the players secure contracts with top European club sides as well as mentor the youngsters.
He continued: ” Like I said before, I will keep on encouraging and inspiring the young lads, give them fresh hope and make them believe there is light at the end of the tunnel.
” They are all talented young players, hungry to excel and look promising. I am optimistic they will achieve their dreams if they remain focus, work hard  and bring down their heads.
“We are Keen to win with Moonluck and I am going to exhaust every possible avenue to actualize this goal. It’s a new dawn for Moonluck.”
