Erico Sports Legacy Foundation aims to produce quality basketball stars as REAP clinic ends in Lagos

Micheal Eric, son of former Green Eagles of Nigeria Goalkeeper and Coach Joe Erico also known as Jogo Bonito has vowed to sustain the sports legacy planted by his father as long as possible through the Erico sports legacy foundation.
Michael Oluwaseun Eric said he used the just concluded third edition of his annual basketball clinic tagged ‘REAP’ ( Reflect, Evolve, Always and Progress) for players aged 14-18 held at Ilupeju Basketball Court, Lagos to arouse and sustain interest of kids with basketball potentials.
The D’Tigers player who is a professional basket baller with Turk Telekom of Turkish basketball Super League (Euro Cur) after stints in USA, Spain, Russia and Greece stated that he’s committed to inspiring the best young basket ballers at the clinic to become superstars in the nearest future.
“My dad was such a great Football and Basketball lover and actor.
Apart from serving Nigeria meritoriously, Dad was excellent in giving his family quality lifestyle that included Education and Sports.
“He practically inspired us to love soccer and basketball beside
regularly teaching discipline, fear of God and excellence in sports,”
said the gangling Michael Eric who alongside other members of the
Erico Legacy Sports foundation distributed shoes, certificates and other take aways to more than 50 kids that attended the finals of the two day clinic.
