Imo SWAN congratulates Aluo on new appointment

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria , SWAN, Imo State Chapter, has congratulated veteran sports journalist and immediate past Chairman of Nigeria National League, NNL, Chief George Aluo, on his appointment as Media Consultant to the office of the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Grassroots Sports Development, Hon. Adeyinka Anthony Adeboye.
Imo SWAN made this known In a statement signed by the Secretary, Anthony Ahize. The Chairman Mr Cosmos Chukwuemeka described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that Chief Aluo’s wealth of experience in sports journalism, administration and football development has distinguished him as a credible professional in the Nigerian sports industry.
In the words of Chukwuemeka, “Aluo’s track record of purposeful administration, particularly during his time as NNL Chairman, coupled with his over three decades of experience in the media and sports sector, makes him eminently qualified for the new responsibility.
“On behalf of Imo SWAN, I warmly congratulate Chief George Aluo on this well-deserved appointment. His wealth of experience, professionalism and proven record in sports administration speak volumes about his capacity to contribute meaningfully to the grassroots sports development agenda.
