Imo SWAN mourns ex- Heartland FC General Manager, Promise Nwachukwu

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Imo State Chapter, has expressed deep sadness and shock over the death of former Heartland FC General Manager, Promise Uchenna Nwachukwu.
In a press statement co-signed by the Chairman, Cosmos Chukwuemeka and the Secretary, Tunde Liadi, the Imo SWAN Chairman declared that Nwachukwu dedicated many years of his life to the growth of Heartland FC.
Chukwuemeka and Liadi noted that Nwachukwu made significant contributions to Nigerian football through his various administrative roles, including serving as Coordinator of the NPFL Club Owners Association.
“We have lost a committed football administrator whose passion and selfless service left a lasting impact on Heartland FC and the Nigerian game,” Chukwuemeka said.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and the entire football community. May God grant them the strength to bear this painful loss, and may his soul rest in peace,” the group said.
