KBFN mourns death of coach Ogunsuyi

Kickboxing Federation of Nigeria has sent a condolence letter to the Ogun state Kickboxing Association over the death of Coach Olufunke Ogunsuyi, which occurred last Sunday, in Ilorin.

According to the letter signed by KBFN Caretaker Committee Chairman, CSP Abubakar Yakubu, the death of the coach is unfortunate and great loss to the kickboxing family.

Coach Funke was known for her commitment, sincerity and generosity to friends and the entire kickboxing family. As a seasoned coach, she was one of few Nigerian officials that participated at the just concluded WAKO Online  Seminar for Technical Officials on the newly introduced scoring rules of various kickboxing styles.

“The entire Kickboxing Federation is saddened by this huge loss. However, we take solace in the memories of her impacts and commitments to this sport.

” I pray that God gives her immediate family in particular,and Ogun State kickboxing family in general, to bear this irreparable loss.”
