KFN Board Members Back Dimkpa, Commend NSC for Upholding Due Process

Two members of the Board of the Karate Federation of Nigeria (KFN), Dr. Mustapha Sheriff Ramadan, North-East Representative, and Mr. Brian Obinna, South-East Representative, have congratulated Engr. Chukwudi Dimkpa on his emergence as President of the Karate Federation of Nigeria, expressing confidence that his leadership will usher in a new phase of unity, stability and development for the sport.
Speaking with FAKS MEDIA, Dr. Ramadan described Engr. Dimkpa as a committed administrator with a genuine passion for karate and its growth.
«”Engr. Chukwudi Dimkpa has consistently demonstrated his love and commitment to karate. Having worked with him, I am confident he possesses the vision and dedication required to move the federation forward. I believe his leadership offers a great opportunity to strengthen and develop karate across Nigeria,” he said.
Also speaking, Mr. Brian Obinna commended the leadership of the National Sports Commission (NSC) for ensuring that due process prevailed in resolving the leadership of the federation.
“I commend the National Sports Commission for its commitment to fairness, due process and the principles of good governance.
“With Engr. Chukwudi Dimkpa now leading the federation, I am optimistic that Nigerian karate will witness greater unity, improved administration and renewed focus on athlete and grassroots development. I have confidence in his capacity and passion to lead the federation successfully,” Obinna stated.
The endorsements by the two Board members reflect growing optimism among stakeholders as the Karate Federation of Nigeria begins a new chapter focused on strengthening governance, promoting unity and advancing the development of karate at all levels across the country.
Meanwhile, Engr. Chukwudi Dimkpa is expected to convene his inaugural Board meeting in the coming days.
The meeting is expected to deliberate on key governance and administrative matters, set strategic priorities for the federation, and chart a clear roadmap for the continued growth and development of karate in Nigeria.
