Kida Bows Out of NBBF Presidency, Says He Is Proud of Achievements

Outgoing President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), Engineer Ahmadu Musa Kida, has expressed satisfaction with the achievements recorded during his tenure, declaring that he is leaving office with pride in what his administration has accomplished.

Kida made this known at the ongoing NBBF elective congress, where stakeholders have assembled to elect a new president and determine the future direction of Nigerian basketball.

The outgoing president acknowledged the progress made under his leadership and expressed confidence in the calibre of candidates seeking to succeed him.

He also emphasised the importance of sustaining the gains recorded during his administration, noting that the incoming leadership would have the responsibility of building on the existing foundation.

Kida’s tenure at the helm of the NBBF began in 2017, marking the end of an era as the federation prepares for a new chapter under fresh leadership.
