Football match, cultural dance lined up for coronation of Asigangan of Igangan land
Program lined up for the coronation of Oba Rafiu Olaniyi Adeniyi Ariwoola the Aako II, the Asigangan of Igangan land has commenced on Friday 9th, February, 2024 with Special Jumat Service at the Igangan Central Mosque while a Special Sunday Service was held at First Baptist Church, Igangan on Sunday 11th of February, 2024.
According to a press release issued by the Publicity Committee, headed by Dr. Adigun Olufemi and made available to newsmen, it stated that Special Iwure by the Traditionalist will be held on Thursday 15th at the Isese house, while Special Football match between Igangan and Tapa will come up at the ADS Basic School football pitch on Friday 16th, February, 2024.
Special cultural/traditional dance will also be held at the Methodist Basic School, Igangan on Monday 19th, the Day 5 of the event as part of activities scheduled for the coronation.
Monday 19th, February 2024 which is the Day 6 and final day will witnessed the coronation and presentation of staff and instrument of office to the new Asigangan of Igangan land, Oba Rafiu Olaniyi Adeniyi Ariwoola the Aako II at the Federal Science and Technical College, Igangan.
