Kwara Falcons Stage Sensational Comeback, Secure First Win at West African Basketball Classics

Kwara Falcons pulled off a spectacular comeback to grab the first win of the West African Basketball Classics by defeating Braves Custom of Ghana 71-65.

The Braves started the game firing on all cylinders and found themselves racing to a 10-point lead at the end of the second quarter, thanks to a very compact display on and off the ball.

They took the early initiative as the two Nathaniels, Nathaniel Kilhan and Nathaniel Nana Yeboah, led the charge, leaving the Kwara Falcons dumbfounded.

However, Coach Baba Jibril had other ideas, and after implementing a few changes, Kwara Falcons began to find their feet, and star players like Obinna Azi and Victor Sunday began to influence proceedings. Eventually, it was a game of wills and might, and Braves Custom had no answer to the onslaught, eventually bowing to pressure in the fourth quarter.

It is a tough pill to swallow for the Braves of Ghana, but they will definitely be encouraged by the early display heading into the remaining games.
