Mbaisii hosts Ogbako Ndi Nze Ngor Okpala

Plans have been advanced by Ogbako Ndi Nze Mbaisii in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State to host this Saturday the apex monthly socio-cultural rotational General Council meeting of Ogbako Ndi Nze, Ngor Okpala being piloted by Okenze Sylvester Obinna.
According to Prof Alabekee Chikwendu who’s Okenze and the Coordinator of the forthcoming crucial socio-cultural meeting in a press statement endorsed by him and made available to news men in Owerri on Thursday.
“It would interest you to know that Ndi Nze MBAISII will kick start the rotational hosting of the meeting coming up in July 11, 2026 by 11am at OBIRI AMA ASAA in Umuagwu village, Okpala Autonomous Community, Eziama, Ngor Okpala.
“We consider it noteworthy and an honour as we welcome elites of the traditional institution in Ngor Okpala” he noted.
He pointed out that the strategic meeting is aimed at strengthening and preserving the rich cultural heritages of Ngor Okpala while promoting peace, unity, and harmony across the various autonomous communities within the local government area.
Okenze Chikwendu also informed that the meeting would focus on the need to preserve traditional values, customs, and institutions that have long defined the identity and heritage of Ngor Okpala as a people.
He reiterated that the council meeting will equally deliberate on the importance of safeguarding these cultural practices and transmitting them to future generations in order to maintain the community’s unique traditions and historical legacies.
The Council meeting he further said would offer the members an opportunity to discuss on strategies for strengthening unity among the various autonomous communities and fostering peaceful coexistence within their traditional jurisdictions.
The Coordinator patriotically observed that peace, mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation remain essential ingredients for sustainable development and progress in Ngor Okpala council area.
He assured participants of peaceful deliberations, Mbaisii hospitality as well as security, while committing them and their families into the hands of God.
