Mbappe dethrones Cavani, goes top of PSG goal list

French super star, Kylian Mbappe has continued his fine run with PSG as he scored a record breaking goal in PSG’s game against Nantes on Saturday in Ligue 1.

Mbappe banged in his 201st goal for the club in the 4-2 win, thus going clear of Edinson Cavani at the top of the PSG goal list.

The 24 year old Mbappe has played at two World Cup finals winning it in 2018 and earning the Golden Boot as top scorer in 2022 in Qatar.

It would be noted that Mbappe also won the Nations League with his country in 2021.

He scored a hat-trick in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup final against Argentina, which France lost on penalties after a 3-3 draw.
