Chief Executive Officer of Monimichelle Group, Ebi Egbe has given a pat on the back to Bayelsa Queens for doing the country proud in Coted’Ivoire.
Bayelsa Queens on Saturday qualified for the Women’s CAF Champions league after a fine run in the WAFU zone.
Egbe said going by performance of the girls in the zonal qualifiers, they can go all the way when the main campaign gets on the way in Morocco.
“I want to commend the girls for doing Bayelsa and the country proud and charge them not to relent as they prepare for the main tournament in Morocco later this year,” Egbe stated.
Bayelsa Queens would be the second Nigerian team that will participate in the CAF women’s Champions League, after Rivers Angels featured at the maiden edition in Egypt last year.
