Monimichelle’s expatriate installers arrive for Onikan Stadium turf

The Lagos Onikan Stadium turf would in the next couple of days wear a lush green face with the arrival in the country of the expatriate installers of Monimichelle, the contractor that is handling the project.
The CEO of Monimichelle, Ebi Egbe who flew in with the installers from Portugal early this week disclosed yesterday that all is now set for his company to lay the geotech turf.
Egbe said Onikan in less than one month would be ready for soccer action as laying of the turf and other finishing touches would be completed in few days.
“My installers from Portugal are in the country and are already working on the pitch. We have all the materials needed to get the job done, so we are good to go. In a matter of days the arena would have a lush green playing surface,” Egbe said.
The Bayelsa born FIFA licensed match agent said he would use the Onikan Stadium project to once again showcase what his company is capable of doing.
“What we did in Aba at the Enyimba Stadium and the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa have been applauded. We would do even a better job here in Lagos because for us in Monimichelle we strive to raise the bar. We don’t compromise when it comes to quality. As an indigenous company, we want to give the country the best. As I have always said our vision is to eradicate bad pitches not just in Nigeria but in Africa.”
