National Recognition: Zenith Sports Boss, Maduakor Inducted as Fellow of Chartered Institute of Public Management of Nigeria


In a significant milestone marking his growing influence in national sports administration and public-sector leadership, Chief Paul Maduakor, Chairman of Zenith Sports Group, was Saturday inducted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Management of Nigeria (CIPMN).
The prestigious ceremony took place on December 6, 2025, at the University of Benin, Edo State.
The Fellowship, one of the highest professional honours of the Institute was conferred after the Board of Council and Management certified that Chief Maduakor had fulfilled all academic, ethical, and professional requirements.
The recognition places him among Nigeria’s distinguished public management professionals whose work has significantly contributed to national development.
Chief Maduakor continues to serve as the President of the Nigeria Amputee Football Federation (NAFF), as his previously tendered resignation was not approved by the National Sports Commission.
His tenure has been marked by structural reforms, enhanced athlete welfare, and stronger international engagement for amputee football.
He also plays a key leadership role as the General Secretary of the Nigeria Minifootball Federation, where he has been instrumental in strengthening governance systems and driving grassroots development across the country.
Reflecting on the honour, Chief Maduakor described the Fellowship as both a recognition and a responsibility:
“Being named a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Management of Nigeria is a profound honour. It represents trust, accountability, and service.
“I remain committed to using this platform to further strengthen sports administration and contribute meaningfully to national progress”, he said.
The Chartered Institute noted that Maduakor’s induction acknowledges his consistent demonstration of leadership excellence, administrative discipline, and public impact; attributes that continue to set him apart in Nigeria’s evolving sports and management landscape.
