NBF Pro Announces Strategic Zonal Appointments to Drive Professional Boxing Development Across Nigeria

The Nigeria Boxing Federation Professional (NBF Pro) has announced a landmark series of appointments to its Operating functionality, establishing a robust zonal leadership structure designed to accelerate the development of professional boxing across all six geo-political zones of Nigeria.
The appointments reflect NBF Pro’s commitment to decentralizing boxing administration, ensuring that regulatory oversight and event development reach every corner of the nation.
Zonal Commissioners Appointed:
Mr. Samuel Akinola Amusan — South West NBF Pro Boxing Commissioner
Engr. Henry Declan — South South NBF Pro Boxing Commissioner
Prince Paul Ngaduba — South East NBF Pro Boxing Commissioner

Mr. Sunday Robinson — North East NBF Pro Boxing Commissioner
Mr. Muhammed M. Kalanbaye — North West NBF Pro Boxing Commissioner
Mr. David Dyegh — North Central NBF Pro Boxing Commissioner
In addition to the zonal commissioners, NBF Pro has strengthened its institutional capacity with key legal and administrative appointments:
Elvis Ashien, ESQ — Legal Adviser, NBF Pro Boxing Commission
Barrister Clement Benjamin Godwin — Legal Adviser, NBF Pro Boxing Commission
W. S. Bako, ESQ — Enforcement and Compliance Lead, NBF Pro Boxing Commission
Mr. Olusola David Ajala — NBF Pro Boxing Front Desk Officer
The new structure is expected to streamline licensing, improve fighter welfare, enhance regulatory compliance, and create a pipeline for Nigerian boxers to compete on the global stage.
According to the Chairman NBF Pro Azania Omo-Agege, the body remains dedicated to building a world-class professional boxing ecosystem in Nigeria—one zone at a time.
