NDC Sagbama Ward 10 Records Massive Turnout as Voter Sensitization Tour Ends in Grand Style
..Members Hail Senator Dickson, Celebrate Magbisa, Pledge Total Support for Party

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) voter sensitization campaign recorded a resounding success as the party’s leadership stormed Sagbama Ward 10, where thousands of party members, community leaders, women, youths, and supporters turned out in a massive show of solidarity to welcome the delegation.

The Ward 10 exercise, was greeted with an overwhelming display of love and support for the NDC and its Bayelsa State House of Assembly candidate for Sagbama Constituency II, Hon. (Chief) Michael Magbisa, whom they described as their son and a champion of development in Sagbama.
The high-powered delegation was led by the Grandmaster of Bayelsa West, Hon. Dr. O. O. Osusu, alongside the Caucus Chairman of Sagbama Local Government Area, Hon. Salo Adikumo.

Other members of the team included Chief Benjamin Oyinkuro Bekeowei (Caucus Secretary, Sagbama LGA), High Chief Victor Okubonanabo, Chief Agua Aladei, Engr. Dr. Dio Wenepere, Barr. Osusu Jnr. (State Legal Adviser), Hon. Sunday Macaulay (Chairman, NDC Sagbama LGA), Hon. Mrs. Helen Eke (LGA Woman Leader), Hon. Romeo Richman (Director of Mobilization, NDC Bayelsa West), and Comrade Dunoboh Joseph Oyinkuro (Ward 10 Chairman), alongside party stakeholders, traditional chiefs, elders, women, and youths.
Addressing the jubilant gathering, party leaders emphasized the importance of the ongoing INEC Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise, urging all eligible citizens to register and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to actively participate in the 2027 General Elections.
The delegation also formally introduced the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and presented its candidates for the various elective offices, reaffirming the party’s commitment to purposeful leadership, quality representation, people-oriented governance, and democratic renewal.
Responding on behalf of all card carrying members of Sagbama ward 10, they, applauded the National Leader of the NDC, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, for providing a credible political platform that continues to inspire hope across Bayelsa State.
They also expressed immense pride in Hon. (Chief) Michael Magbisa, describing him as a dependable leader whose developmental contributions, accessibility, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people have earned him widespread admiration and support.
The atmosphere was electrifying as chiefs, elders, women, and youths danced through the streets in celebration, giving their son and the party a heroic welcome while reaffirming that Ward 10 stands firmly behind the Nigeria Democratic Congress.
The people unanimously pledged to deliver overwhelming votes for the party and all its candidates in the 2027 General Elections, including:
(i)His Excellency Mr. Peter Gregory Obi – President.
(ii) Senator Henry Seriake Dickson – Bayelsa West Senatorial District.
(iii) High Chief Seles Saboh – House of Representatives.
(iv) Hon. Chief Michael Magbisa – Member Representing Sagbama Constituency II, Bayelsa State House of Assembly.
Speaking at the conclusion of the exercise, party leaders thanked the people for their unprecedented turnout, warm reception, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of the Nigeria Democratic Congress.
They described the massive participation as clear evidence that the people are prepared for a new era of purposeful leadership and assured members that the party would continue to strengthen grassroots engagement across Ward 10 and Sagbama Local Government Area.
