Chairman of the Nigeria National League and Member of the NFF Executive Committee, Mr. George Aluo has announced the passing of his mother Ezinne Bernadette Aluo, who died on Monday, 13th July 2026.
Announcing her death, Aluo said the mother has gone home to rest with the Lord after living a fulfilled life on Earth.
“With a heart full of Thanksgiving, but with total submission to the will of God Almighty, I announce the death of my beloved mother, who died Monday morning after a brief illness.
“My mother Ezinne Bernadette Aluo has gone to be with her creator. She has fought the good fight; she has finished the race; she has kept the faith,” Aluo stated in the message.
The deceased would have been 90 years on 18th November 2026.
Her burial arrangement will be announced later.
