Nigerian star excited over Kyoto Sanga promotion to top division

Fast-rising Nigerian football star Ismaila Origbaajo, is over the moon on his team’s promotion to the top Japanese league.

The highly rated young striker moved from lower league side Fukushima United to Kyoto Sanga in the second tier of the fast growing Japanese to join veteran Nigerian star Peter Utaka midway into the season.

The tall, fast paced and powerful striker scored 3 goals in 13 matches to help to help his new team to the top division.

Meanwhile, his newly promoted side have expressed to a strong desire to keep Origbaajo amid growing interests in the player by top teams in Asia and Europe.
