NNL Super 4: NALCOMA Boosts Members’ Presence In Ikenne

The Nigeria National League Club Owners and Managers Association (NALCOMA) has reinforced its commitment to the development and unity of the domestic game by ensuring a strong presence of it’s members at the season-ending Nigeria National League (NNL) Super Four tournament in Ikenne.
The body through a statement signed by it’s President, Godwin Enakhena disclosed that it took full responsibility for the logistics of it’s members, covering hotel accommodation and feeding to enable them actively participate in the four-team competition.
Sporting Lagos, Doma United, Inter Lagos and Ranchers Bees who emerged as winners of their various conferences in the regular season are locked in Ikenne for the NNL title.
According to the statement, the initiative is aimed at fostering inclusiveness, strengthening collaboration among stakeholders, and adding value to the league system beyond the activities on the pitch.
“This is part of our continuous effort to build a stronger and more united football ecosystem. We believe that our presence here goes beyond watching matches,” Enakhena affirmed, “It is about contributing meaningfully to the growth of the league and supporting one another as stakeholders,” he stated.
He further revealed that, aside from members whose clubs are directly involved in the Super Four, the association also sponsored other members to be part of the event.
“This decision underscores our belief in inclusiveness and unity. Football development cannot thrive in isolation. By bringing more members here, we are creating opportunities for learning, interaction, and collective progress,” he added.
NALCOMA members at the venue also reiterated the need for clubs to take greater responsibility for their operations, particularly in the area of logistics.
The presence of NALCOMA members in Ikenne has already added vibrancy to the Super Four, with increased engagement, exchange of ideas, and stronger support for the participating teams.
The association maintained that such initiatives will continue as it works towards building a more structured, self-sustaining, and competitive Nigeria National League.
The Secretary of NALCOMA, Mallam Usman Ahmed Egye, while speaking on the sidelines of the competition, emphasized that the body will continue to complement the efforts of the NNL Board in providing a sustainable football development culture, even as he thanked members for their understanding.
