NOC/Nigeria Aquatics Federation set for level 2 Coaching

The Nigeria Olympic Committee and Aquatics Federation of Nigeria have announced plans to hold level 2 Coaching Course.
According to a statement by the NOC, signed it’s Public Relations Officer, Tony Nezieanya, the technical coaching course will be held at the secretariat of the Olympic body at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

The 5-day intensive initiative programme, the statement explained, is part of the IOC’s continuous effort, through Olympic Solidarity, to support member nations in developing qualified coaches who can produce world-class athletes.

The statement further stated that the training is aimed at upgrading the technical capacity of Nigerian coaches and aligning local coaching standards with international best practices.

Mr Finch Cedric, a certified technical expert from South Africa, will serve as the lead facilitator for the course, while an NOC Secretariat staff Mrs. Oaniyan Dolapo Rofiat will coordinate the course,l.

President of NOC Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel will declare open the programme.
