NPFL: Abia Warriors beat Rangers again as Nasarawa hold Enyimba

Abia Warriors continued their fine run this season as they secured a 2-1 victory over Rangers in one of today’s NPFL mid week pairings.
It is recalled that the Coach Erasmus Onuh tutored Warriors had in the first stanza beaten Rangers at the Awka City stadium.
In Aba, Enyimba playing their second consecutive home game were held to a 1-1 draw by visiting Nasarawa United.
Enyimba were also forced to a 1-1 draw by high riding Insurance when the second stanza of the season commenced last week.
Insurance on their part remained unbeaten despite not being able to secure maximum points at home against Akwa United. The tie ended 1-1. Akwa had in the very first game of the season lost by 0-2 to Insurance at the Nest of Champions.
The Sunshine Stars of Akure and Doma United encounter ended 1-1.
