NPFL: Azeez tasks refs to be fair

Members of the Nigeria Referees Association, NRA, taking part in the various national competitions as match officials have been told to consolidate the gains so far garnered from good officiating.
President of the NRA, Otunba Tade Azeez made this known during the last quarter fitness test for FIFA Referees from Nigeria held at the National Stadium, Abuja.
The President enjoined the referees not to renege at ensuring that the 17 Laws of the Game and other necessary guidelines are strictly adhered to in the course of discharging their duties.
After serving out as notable international female referees, retired FIFAs Bola Abidoye and Hadiza Musa are back to action as Assessors in Bauchi and Kano centres respectively. While Abidoye will determine how FIFA Abubakar Mohammed of Niger alongside others will handle the Wikki vs Rangers clash, Hadiza will report the activities of the quartet led by Iranloye Shina for the Jigawa vs Wolves.
As Kwara United returns to the elite league, Ondo State arbiter, Babajide Saeed will be the centre of action assisted on the lines by Tijani Mustapha of Katsina and Bauchi’s Francis Friday. The National Treasurer of the NRA, Isa Mohammed of Borno state council is the Assessor.
