AFCON Qualifier: Ladipo, Adepoju tip Super Eagles to beat Libya

As the Super Eagles file out today against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo Akwa Ibom State in the first leg of their double header qualifiers for Morocco 2025 AFCON finals, President General of Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Dr. Rafiu Ladipo and former Super Eagles player, Mutiu Adepoju have expressed confidence that the Coach Austin Equavoen tutored side will grab the three points at stake.
Ladipo told newstap.com.ng that he doesn’t see the Libyans as a threat noting that the Eagles will not only fly over them in Uyo but beat them in the reverse fixture to book a ticket to Morocco
” The Mediterranean Knights will not pose any serious threat to the Super Eagles. Nigeria will not only beat them in Uyo but will also defeat them in their home soil”, boasted Ladipo who also doubles as President of Nigerian Boxing Board of Control (NBB of C).

According to him, members of his club are already on ground in Uyo to join thousands of other Nigerians in cheering the team to victory.

Speaking in similar vein, ex- international, Mutui Adepoju noted that the Austin Equavoen tutored side will not have any reason not to beat Libya home and away considering the calibre of players he invited for the game
” I have no doubt in my mind that the Super Eagles will beat their opponents in today’s qualifiers. Right now, the Libyans are occupying the last position in Group D and I don’t see them causing any upset against Nigeria.
He however advised Coach Eguavoen to fortify all departments of the team so as not to give the North Africans any chance of causing heartache to Nigerians.
A home and away win against the North Africans will ensure Nigeria book a ticket to Morocco 2025 AFCON finals
