Obadina joins SWAN NEC as Ogundiya remains South-West Zonal Secretary

The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has announced the appointment of Enitan Obadina as the Association’s National Welfare Officer.

After the recent election into the National body of the association in charge of sports writers in the country, Obadina, a member of the Lagos State chapter and South-West zone of the association, will join the elected members led by the president, Isaiah Benjamin.

Obadina, a former producer and presenter of the popular TV programme, Sports Extra on AIT, is expected to bring his wealth of experience to SWAN.

Also, the Vice President, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN South-West Zone, Ayodeji Ogunsakin, has announced the appointment of members of the Zonal Executive of the Association.

The current Zonal Secretary, Charles Ogundiya of New Telegraph Newspaper from the Lagos State chapter, retained his position, as did Femi Dairo from the Ondo State chapter, who remained Zonal Treasurer, and Jide John from the Osun State chapter as Zonal Welfare.

In a statement, the Vice President said the appointment recognizes their commitment, dedication, and willingness to contribute to the growth and development of SWAN-South West zone.

The VP encouraged the reappointed officers to contribute to the success and progress of the zone and the Association at large.
