Ohakim Hails Tinubu’s Emergence As APC Presidential Candidate

Former governor of Imo State and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Dr.Ikedi Ohakim has congratulated the national leader of the party and former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his emergence as the presidential candidate of the APC for the 2023 general election.

Ohakim in a congratulatory message to Tinubu, made available to the media in Abuja, said Tinubu’s victory is well deserved and that his emergence as APC presidential candidate was very reassuring, more so as it was through a democratic process that has been adjudged as free and fair.

He said that it marked epochal moment in the collective history of Nigerians as a people and as well signified a quantum leap in our march to a true democratic culture that provides all the opportunity to choose and be chosen.

While commending the Convention Planning Committee for a job well done, he emphasized that he had no doubt that Tinubu would lead the APC to victory and assured the Asiwaju of his unflinching support for him ahead of the general election.

He used the opportunity to implore all teeming members and supporters of the APC across the country to rally round their presidential candidate in the general election.
