11 boxers to represent Nigeria at the All African Games

Ahead of the 2023 All African Games in Accra, Ghana between March 8th- 23rd, 2024, Nigeria Boxing Federation (NBF) has released the list of the final boxing squad for the multi-sports event.
The list includes three Paris Olympics qualifiers, Africa featherweight bronze medallist Dolapo Omole, Africa heavyweight champion Adams Olaore and Commonwealth Games bronze medallist Cynthia Ogunsemilore..

Male :
1. Dolapo Omole -57kg (Featherweight)

2. Yakubu Ibrahim – 71kg (Light-middleweight)

3. Adams Olaore -92kg (Heavyweight) UK-Based.

4. Ifeanyi Onyekwere +92kg (Super-heavyweight)

Women :
5. Zainab Adeshina 50kg (Flyweight)

6. Sukurah Kareem 54kg (Bantamweight)

7. Joy Ojo 57kg (Featherweight)

8. Cynthia Ogunsemilore 60kg (Lightweight)

9. Blessing Oraekwe 70kg (Light-middleweight)

10. Patricia Mbata 75kg (Middleweight), UK-Based.

11. Jacinta Umunnakwe 81kg (Light-heavyweight)

Team Nigeria (Boxing) are currently in Camp at Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort in Akanran, Ibadan, Oyo state and will be jetting out of the country soon.
