Owu Sportswear Reactivates Partnership With Ogunjobi Gold Cup Tourney

Premium quality indigenous kit manufacturers, Owu Sportswear, have reactivated their partnership with Nigeria’s premium off-season inter-club tournament, Ogunjobi Gold Cup.

Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State, and its refurbished sports facility, MKO Abiola Sports Arena, will host the 14th edition of the 10-day football fiesta from Thursday August 13th to Saturday August 22nd.

The strategic partnership will see Owu Sportswear dress the members of the Local Organising Committee (LOC), the matchday referee, his assistants and the finalists.

Tunde Shamsudeen, Ogunjobi Gold Cup General Coordinator, spoke with the tournament’s media channel about the development.

“Owu Sportswear is designed for teams to win, with their unique and athletic designs, so we are proud to have them as our partners,” said Shamsudeen.

“We have had a remarkable relationship with Barrister Tunji Brown and his Owu Sportswear brand, being Nigeria’s first recognised design.

“Not taking anything away from other made-in-Nigeria sports kit brands, Owu Sportswear remains the dominant supplier to clubs across the three divisions of our domestic leagues.”
