Catholic Media Practitioners Association (CAMPAN) Lagos Archdiocese has inducted new members at a ceremony which took place at the Church of Presentation in Festac.

The ceremony took place during a mass celebrated by the Director of Social Communication in the Archdiocese Rev Fr Tony Gondonu.

Fr Gondonu charged the new CAMPAN members to propagate the truth while carrying out their job as journalists.

He lit a candle each for the inductees which symbolically represents light.

Fr Gondonu had during his homily harped on the need for Christians to prepare for the second coming of Christ, especially this season of Advent and on the very first Sunday of the Church’s  liturgical calendar.

The Chairman of Lagos CAMPAN Lady Neta Nwosu while welcoming the new members charged them to be committed to the association and the church insisting that they should use their professional calling as Catholics to make Christ known to the world.
