NBB of C Vice Chairman, Arowolo bags sports role model award

The Vice Chairman of Oyo State Chapter of Nigeria Boxing Board of Control (NBBofC) Hon. Bako Arowolo was on Friday, August, 18, 2023 bestowed with a distinguished ‘Sport Role Model Award’ during the third edition of ‘Role Model Champions Night Show’, an event being organized annually by a popular yoruba sports presenter, Babatunde Saheed also known as Mr. Sports.
The event which was held inside Olubadan Event Centre had in attendance football lovers that gained entry into the venue of the event via their twenty thousand naira worth replica jerseys of their soccer clubs.
Babatunde Saheed who also used the occasion to celebrate his 20 years anniversary of sports broadcasting while personally presenting the award to Hon Bako said the recipient had played an important role in his life which contributed to his growth on the job.
“I decided to appreciate people that have contributed to my sports broadcasting career in one way or the other and I can say very boldly that Hon. Bako Arowolo is one of such people and that is why I’m using this opportunity to appreciate and thank him.” said Mr. Sport.
Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, performed at the event while other celebrities in attendance includes Dr. Yinka Ayefele, the Chairman of Fresh FM Nigeria, Saheed Osupa and Taye Akande Adebisi A.K.A Currency, Mogaji Kola Olootu, Suliamon Alao Malaika, another Fuji artist, amongst others .
