Countries such as Benin Republic, Nigeria, South Africa, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Zambia, and Togo are witnessing increasing interest in professional wrestling through training camps, championships, talent development programs, and strategic partnerships’’ explained Olusesan Olukoya, Secretary General at Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA) who also doubles as the President of AIWF Africa, with it’s parent body in the USA.
According to Olukoya: “This evolution is driven by visionary leadership, committed athletes, and organizations determined to establish Africa as a respected force in the international professional wrestling community.
By investing in coaching, officiating, athlete welfare, and grassroots development, African wrestling promotions are laying the foundation for long-term success”.
