Rangers Patron Ejindu Congratulates Team For Emerging NPFL Champions
Patron of ex- Rangers International players, Benson Ejindu a.k.a MVP, has congratulated the team for emerging champions of the 2025/2026 NPFL season.
The Flying Antelopes were on Sunday evening crowned Nigerian champions for the ninth time after defeating Ikorodu City 2-1 on the last day of the league at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena (Onikan), Stadium, Lagos.
In his congratulatory message, the United States of America based Ejindu who prior to the match promised the team N250,000 for any goal scored, said he’s proud of the team’s achievement, declaring that with their victory, they have brought smiles to their teeming supporters and the government and people of Enugu State.
” I’m highly excited with your victory today and I want to say a very big congratulations to both the coaching crew and the players for making us proud on the last match day of the league.
“Winning the league for a record nine time calls for celebration and I will continue to support the team as they go continental next year”, he stated.
Ejindu was also full of praise to the Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah for his financial support to the team even as he appealed to the state government’s increased support for their continental campaign next year
