Another Water FC graduate dazzles in Japan

Former Water FC of Abuja player, Okechukwu Gabriel has made his long awaited debut in the Japanese J League.

Okechukwu made the debut after battling a nagging injury for weeks. The player recently signed a mouth watering four year deal worth two million dollars with Sapporo FC.
He was introduced in the second half and wasted no time to show what stuff he is made of but for the fine goal keeping of their opponent. It was a close contex as the match ended in a barren draw.
Just two days ago Okechukwu’s Water FC team mate, Adewale Oladoye made his own debut with Gent FC in the Belgium league.
Water fc of Abuja has produced players for the national teams of late. The likes of Babatunde Micheal of Brazil 2014, Habib Makajuola U 17 World Cup winner 2013, Sucess Makanjuola, Adewale Oladoye, Emaka Chinonso have had stints with the various national teams.
