Singabele leads new Bayelsa United board ahead NNL campaign

Bayelsa State governor Senator Douye Diri has named experienced football administrator Dr Peter Singabele as the new chairman of Bayelsa United board.

Newstap gathered that Gov Diri made the announcement this morning in Yenagoa after the weekly Prosperity Walk.

We further gathered that the governor said the new board must get Bayelsa United back to the elite class of the nation’s domestic league after suffering an embarrassing relegation this season.

Ono Akpe, the DG of Governor Diri’s grassroots football tournament is also a member of the new board which the governor is said to have carefully selected to get the desired results.
