Anambra SWAN commends Obiano, Monimichelle
Anambra state sportswriters have given a pat on the back to the state governor, Willie Obiano for the steps he has taken to re position sports in the state.
The media men in a communique issued after their Week in Awka also expressed satisfaction with the way the Awka stadium project being handled by leading stadium facilities construction firm, Monimichelle is being executed.
The communique read in part…”SWAN commends Gov Willie Obiano’s efforts at addressing the infrastructure deficiency in the sports sector and expressed satisfaction with the pace of work at Awka Township stadium.”
The sportswriters further urged the contractor, Monimichelle to deliver the project according to specification and within the proposed date.
The association also endorsed the Anambra Football Kiddies Camp being championed by former Super Falcons star, Maureen Madu, even as they charged parents to make their children and wards available for the catch them young project.
