SWAN Condoles With Aluo Over Mother’s Death

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria ( SWAN), has expressed sorrow over the death of Mrs. Ezinne Bernadette Aluo, mother of the Chairman of Nigeria National League and Executive Committee member of NFF, Mr. George Aluo.
The matriarch of Aluo family died early Monday morning after a brief illness few months to her 90th birthday.
In a condolence message signed by the Secretary General, Ikenna Okonwo ANIPR, the association said it received the news of her death with profound sadness, noting that the loss of someone’s mother is one of life’s greatest sorrows.
” We received the news of your mother’s death with profound sadness. We understand that the loss of a mother is one of life’s greatest sorrows, as no words can truly ease the pain of losing someone whose love, guidance and sacrifice shaped so much of one’s life.
“At this difficult time, we pray that Almighty God grant you and your siblings the strength, courage and comfort to bear this irreplaceable loss”, noted the statement.
The association while assuring him of the best regards of the National President, Isaiah Benjamin, prayed that the cherished memories of his mother will continue to bring him peace and that God will grant her soul eternal rest.
