Team Rivers win maiden MOB National Team Taekwondo Championship
With 3 gold and 1 silver medal, team Rivers has emerged champions of the maiden edition of the Michael Opeyemi Bamidele national team Taekwondo championship held at the Indoor Sports hall of the National Stadium Surulere, Lagos.
Team Lagos finished 2nd with 2 gold, 3 silver and I bronze medal while the 3rd position went to team Youth Abuja that had 1 gold and 1 silver medal.
Team Lagos maintained her traditional position as the team to beat when it comes to pomsae by winning the senior men pomsae gold and the senior women gold and silver medals while team Rivers claimed the Senior men, senior women and senior mixed Kyorugi gold medals to stay on top of the medal table.
