Gabriel Jesus! That is the man whose goal sealed victory for Manchester City Friday night in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie against Real Madrid.
Jesus was on target in the 68th minute and his goal ensured City secured a 2-1 victory over Real. With the win, City romped into the quarterfinals with a 4-2 aggregate having won the first leg in Madrid by same margin before the Coronavirus induced break.
In the other match of the night, Lyon sent Ronaldo’s Juventus packing after losing 2-1. Lyon had won the first leg in France by 1-0 thus qualifying via away goal rule.
