UEFA Champions League: Osimhen’s goal not enough to save Napoli

Victor Osimhen scored a late goal for Napoli in today’s quarterfinal clash against AC Milan but his late equalizer was not enough to see his club through to the semi finals of the UEFA Champions league.

Milan went through 2-1 on aggregate haven won the first leg at home.

Oliver Giroud was the man that got the job done for Milan with his 43rd minute strike.

The encounter was one in which both sides threw away a penalty. Giroud failed to score from the spot in the first half while Icha also failed to convert for Napoli in the 80th minute.

AC Milan Will in the semi face the winner of the Inter, Benfica clash. Inter go into the return leg at home with a 2-0 lead.

Real Madrid in the other quarter finals match secured a 4-0 aggregate win over Chelsea.
