Union in USA plans big for Umuohiagu community health center

Indigenes of Umuohiagu Autonomous Community in the United States of America (USA) under the aegis of Umuohiagu Progressive Union -Overseas Incorporated are planning big for the health center at their ancestral home in Afor Umuohiagu, Ngor Okpala local government area of Imo state.
The Union which plans to embark on the rehabilitation of the health center has concluded arrangements for a fund raising ceremony billed for October 12 in Houston.
The fund raising ceremony would be the high point of the Union’s 2019 Convention which kicks off 8 PM inside the Virtuocity banquet hall, 9819 Bissonnet Street, Houston TX 77037.
The event is expected to attract sons and daughters of the Imo airport community from different parts of the United States.
Some of the respected personalities billed to grace the occasion include Duke Nnamdi Iyeh, Lady Eucharia Ibeneme, Thomas Metu, Oliver Eke, Chief Raphael Iyeh and Pastor Onyeuwoma Igbokwe.
It would be noted that the Umuohiagu Progressive Union -Overseas has over the year’s carried out several laudable development projects in the Umuohiagu autonomous community, including organizing medical outreach programs that have benefited indigent members of the autonomous community.
