Uzodimma lifts Heartland, clears salary owed players

Heartland is getting a breath of fresh air ahead of tomorrow’s game against 3SC in Ibadan.

Governor Hope Uzodimma this evening approved the immediate payment of all salaries and allowances owed the players and their coaches.

This much was confirmed to newstap.com.ng by the Deputy Speaker Imo House of Assembly, Hon Amara Iwuanyanwu.

Iwuanyanwu who alongside Sports Commissioner Dan Ogu, supervises the club said Heartland with the magnanimity of the governor is set to bounce back.
