WAFCON FINAL: Anambra FA Chairman Iloenyosi Charges Super Falcons To Go For Victory
..Says Nigerians are solidly behind them

As the Super Falcons prepare to face the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco tomorrow in Rabat in the finals of the ongoing Women African Cup.of Nations ( WAFCON,), Chairman of Anambra State Football Association, Chikelue Iloenyosi has charged the team to go all out and win the trophy, assuring them that the whole nation is solidly behind them
The Super Falcons will on Saturday in Rabat, the Moroccan Capital, try to win their tenth title and Iloenyosi believes that the coach Justin Madugu will do the country proud by lifting the trophy a record tenth time.
“I’m happy with the performance of the Super Falcons in this tournament. Initially many people never gave them chance to succeed but by the Special Grace of God, they’ll be playing the finals with host nation, Morocco and as they step into the pitch, I urge them to put in their best and carry the Nigerian spirit along to win the title”, noted the former Super Eagles defender.
Iloenyosi popularly known as ‘General’ in football circles was also quick to dismiss fears in some quarters that home advantage will count in favour of the Moroccans; saying that the Falcons are used to playing in front of hostile crowd and as such will know how to handle the situation.
“I don’t think the issue of home advantage will play any role in tomorrow’s finals. Our girls are experienced enough and can handle the situation perfectly well. All I want them to do is to remain focused, play their normal game and victory will definitely come their way”, concluded Iloenyosi.
