NNL okays Okocha’s stadium for Apex Krane

The Nigeria National League ( NNL) has given approval for Apex Krane FC to play their home games at the Austin Okocha Stadium in Ogwashi Ukwu, Delta State.

Apex Krane, it would be noted, prosecuted their home matches at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba last season.

The club which made their debut in the league last season had before the start of the new season requested NNL to come for the inspection of their new home an exercise that was carried out early this week.

Chairman of the club, Ex international, Ifeanyi Ekwueme confirmed to Newstap.com.ng that

NNL has given its nod to the club to play at Ogwashi Ukwu, even as he added that they will host Abia Comets there on Monday.

“We are playing our first home game on Monday at Ogwashi Ukwu against Abia Comets,” Ekwueme stated.

He said the club is poised to do well this season and has prepared well for the task ahead.

Apex Krane lost the first match of the season away by a lone goal to FC One Rocket of Uyo.
