Wrestling Federation Congratulates Customs Boss, CG Adeniyi As President Tinubu Extends His Tenure

The Nigeria Wrestling Federation welcomes with gladness the news of Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, MFR tenure extension as Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Nigeria Wrestling Federation in a statement issued out by the Vice President, Chris Amkpila through the Federation Media Assistant Promise Okotoko, on behalf of the NWF board and entire wrestling fraternity noted that the extension of Adeniyi’s tenure as Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs is well deserved

The statement noted that Adeniyi who doubles as President of the Nigeria Wrestling Federation, has demonstrated eagerness with a clear vision, and strong work ethics, while ensuring the Nigeria Customs personnel have a structured onboarding process for seamless discharge of their duties

Describing the Customs boss as a man who has innovative thinking and impeccable qualities, thus reflected on the numerous successes the NSC has recorded in the past few years

NWF stressed that Adeniyi has simultaneously offered learning opportunities, mentorship, and developing high-potential personnel for future leadership roles.

The Nigeria Wrestling Federation expressed deep appreciation to President Tinubu for the confidence reposed on its president.

“Everyone at the Nigeria Wrestling Federation, particularly the NWF board, is extremely buzzing with the news of CG Adeniyi’s tenure being extended by the President.

We are really proud of the job and administrative transformation he brought to the NSC, hence the President deemed him fit for tenure extension and we pray God almighty gives him more wisdom and strong health to continue to be a beacon of generational change.” Chris said.
