Bankoke shines in Kwara Utd’s victory over Rivers United

Kwara United and CHAN Eagles talented and experienced right back, Afeez Bankole put up a sterling performance in the NPFL over the weekend as his team spanked Rivers United in a game.

The reliable defender, made two beautiful assists that resulted in two of the three goals Kwara United scored in that very tough game.

The former Smart City assistant captain shone like a million stars, producing some wonderful defending, as well as joining the attack with some brilliant runs and assisting from the right side of the defence.

Bankole, who is still part of the CHAN Eagles team, is really elated that kwara United will continue their stay in the NPFL, next season, adding that, he will continue to give his best for his team for them to achieve success.

“It was a very delicious victory for us. We needed victory to keep us in the NPFL, I thank God we got the desired result, and I will continue to give maximum performances to make sure kwara United achieves bigger success in the near future.” He said.

“We have cemented our NPFL status for next season. We will now fully focus on our President Federation Cup semi-finals against Rangers,
