2023 IYD: POCACOV celebrates youth basketballers in Imo
The 2023 International Youth Day, IYD, celebration in Imo State was marked with fun fair by the POCACOV community and young basketballers, who for the first time celebrated the day.
This year’s event tagged: “Green Skills for Youth Towards A Sustainable world” was welcomed by the young ones, who believed the future of the world should have a youth friendly atmosphere by promoting and encouraging a green world free from war and hunger.
POCACOV Ambassador and Chairman, Imo State Basketball Association, Mr Kelechi Anosike and Coach of Abia Angels, Prince Benjamin Nwoke, encouraged the youths to stay away from vices such as cultism, drug abuse and organised crimes adding that it won’t enable them have a better life in the future.
POCACOV Chairman in Imo State, Mr Kennedy Onwunali encouraged the youths of the state to embrace the message noting that the youths must strive, which is brought to them by POCACOV by keeping off from all dangerous company that will hamper their future.
