Chief Okwu made the assertion Monday when he paid a congratulatory visit to his counterpart of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, in the area, Hon.Uche Ogbuagu on the occasion of his birthday celebration at his country home in Akabo Community, Ikeduru LGA of Imo State.

The APP candidate who stormed the event ground in glowing colours with his teeming supporters congratulated Ogbuagu as he celebrated and prayed God to grant him more years of good health, wisdom and wellbeing in his new age.
He said, “I am here to celebrate and rejoice with my younger brother on his birthday. This is not about politics but brotherliness because we are both from Ikeduru. We are one, not enemies irrespective of our different political affiliations.
“That both of us are contesting the same position to represent Mbaike in the National Assembly, NASS, does not and cannot make us enemies now. We have one common enemy which is inept leadership and misrepresentation at various levels of government over the years.
“We are brothers and remain so with or without election. Personally I don’t subscribe to politics of bickering, rancour and violence. I have come to join him in thanking God for the added age.”
Welcoming the august special guest, the celebrant, Chief Ogbuagu expressed joy over the visit and appreciated Chief Okwu’s kind gesture, humane disposition and sportsmanship spirit in politics saying it’s a rare attribute in many political actors of nowadays.
His words, “You have a good heart. For coming you are a good man Sir. This is someone I am contesting election with but you are here and you are not the only one I invited. Thank you so very much, I feel very honoured for this special visit.”
The PDP candidate also doffed his hat for Sweet Apple for always identifying with his family during celebrations and assured him of sustenance of the cordial relationship.
